Whole point of this product is to play away from home. As in NOT AT HOME lol. How tf are we supposed to restart our PS5 if we aren’t home?

Not every router/wifi connection will let you connect your portal to your ps5. You have to configure your router settings or call your internet provider to make sure it’s not blocking your ps portal from connecting.

My Portal never works on a different wifi than the one my PS5 is connected to.
So basically I can only play it sitting right next to my PS5. What is the use?

My home has 3 floors and 2 separate Wifi connections across all the floors. So basically I cannot use the portal even on a different floor in the same house

Anyone know why the hell my ps portal and ps5 suddenly can’t work together on the same WiFi but could before and now only work when on different wifi? Surely they should work best when on the same home WiFi… getting to my end with PlayStation and might pack it in

I had to HARD reset my PS5 recently...good thing i at least had plus essential and got my data from the clouds 💭💭💭💭Portal is my least worry....

Honestly yal, the portal is amazing at home when others need to use the TV. Other than that, stick to the steam deck or something like that… at least you never need to rely on a good connection somewhere in order to play your games.

Mann I was playing on my portal I put it down for 1 minutes and pick it back up and now it won’t connect and im out of town now so they only thing is reset my PlayStation and it still won’t connect

I can't get it to connect over any other wifi network except for my home network. Not sure if that normal or not.
