Even before the update ps portal was good because it was intended for people who have kids or wives that occupy the TV or for people who want to chill in bed and play. That’s the reason why it sold so well even before the update.

Loving my portal now with the update. They also fixed the micro stutter issues and the connection issues with the PS5 it is a lot stronger. It finally works as it should have still need a premium Plus subscription to take advantage of the streaming service

Just one important note for our great Troy. You don't need to put your PS5 back to rest mode for the portal to be able to connect to it. Turning it on is enough.

A little tip, When in the game catalogue on the PS5 console set the filter list to A - Z . This allows the complete list of games to be viewed when looking at the cloud game catalogue. (at the moment you cant change the filter list on the portal)

Great video. I bought this yesterday for my son for Christmas. I only found out about it about a month ago, didn't even know it existed, and only knew that it connected to the playstaion 5 itself. So, to find out it's just had a new updated this has made it much better. My son will love this. What would you rate the playstaion portal to all the other hand held device out there 👍🏻

Anyone else’s game catalog just simply not loading after update? Once I click beta option it says “loading game catalog”. The text saying that goes away and all I see is the blue circle with the theme playing in the background. I 100% have PlayStation premium, restarted the system and even updated my actual ps5 no luck so far with this update. Slightly disappointed

Gang...it works now but at one point I kept getting a message saying too many streams or something like that so it wouldn't let me play any of the network games...had to connect to my p5...and yh it's all good still...this is actually a cold lil device 😂

Fake! Just bought one. I don’t have a ps5. Beta = testing by developers. you get an error when you try to play any game.

There's one thing i'm wondering about.
If you own a game that is not on the Cloud game library, and you don't have a console to stream that game from. Is it still possible to play it through cloud gaming on the Portal?
