Using the PlayStation Portal at home…

As a recently married man. I love this thing. I’m able to sit next to my wife in the living room while she watches her favorite TV shows and we can still feel like we both doing our hobby’s together and still talk to each other Unlike me just gaming in my gaming room alone.

I used mine a lot during my trip to Arizona, even though my PS5 was in Florida, the connection was good enough that I could play most of my games just fine.

Its funny bcause when I'm on the portal it genuinely feels like im still playing my PS5 😂. My guess is its the haptic feedback and the cosole UI oh and your entire library literally in your hands 🔥

I love my portal. I have limited mobility at the moment and it allows me to lay back in bed and play, or in my recliner while my kid watches a movie or while my wife watches football. It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me

Agree Astro Bot is amazing on this thing. I never was a fan of the dual sense features idk I just always turned those off but playing Astro Bot I re-enabled them on the portal and it’s amazing I love this thing.

Remote play is seriously underrated. A few years ago I went to Ireland for vacation and was able to use remote play on my phone while connecting my dual sense to the phone via Bluetooth. Even across the literal Atlantic Ocean, the connection was good enough to play Ghost of Tsushima. I bet the portal connects even better.

Portal gets so much hate because everyone thinks it’s a handheld console. It’s not. If you think of it that way then yah it sucks. But it’s an accessory. And as a gaming accessory it’s one of the best accessories of all time imo. The price is high for an accessory and what it does I get that but if you can afford it it’s awesome.

I hesitated for months and months to buy the Portal because of all the backlash and the internet of bitter and negative people… damn do I regret hesitating, I love this device so much!

Me having the wii u, all the Nintendo and Sony handhelds, understand how convenient something like this is because when you want to watch or listen to something but still want the game in hand when relaxing, the handhelds was always ready to be played. I have just bought this today. Have the oled switch as well as the oled steam deck. I love being able to watch YouTube while lol grinding on games that don't require me to pay you much attention to the screen

I’ve put 4TB SSD in my PS5 and Ethernet/wired it in U.K.
Completed my GOW1 while visiting France, Switzerland and Poland 💪🏻

I absolutely love it! Can access all my games instantly as long I have a decent WiFi/5G.

I'm still rocking my PSVITA bundle. Not gonna upgrade till a PSP 2 or PSVITA 2 drops
