I'm surrounded by peps like this, I'm no contact with the majority. When I kindly set the boundary they super lost their minds and all went on the attack, projected, smeared, and threatened financial ruin. I had enough of underhanded comments at family gatherings. They hate my more quiet nature, make comments like "you just need to get your confidence up", ah no, my quiet is confidence, plus I hate competing and having to speak over others to have my voice heard. I don't do that. They are on good behaviour so the co dependent family member I'm associated with expects me to forget it all happened. Ah no way. I could never share a special talent, it was immediately "someone they know is better" or questioning my knowledge, trying to get me to second guess. I've heard them say "tell us what did, what did we say?" when I set the boundary. They know and I'm not getting into any dialog cause they will furtherly crazy spin it. Then they work through the co dependent to get to me "he's immature for not talking to us, we are so hurt, he started a war" all this drama. My life is so much more at peace without but there are cracks in the armour I need to strengthen.

My MIL could have been a FORD model. Trouble was, that's all she had. Widowed at 50, she buried herself in the Catholic Church to gain supply & attention. The thing was, she didn't do anything that didn't benefit herself... No true charity, humility or generosity....

I started to realize my siblings don’t like me when I noticed they can’t let me be good at anything and they’ve never celebrated me or been there for me the way I was for them because they were in secret competition. They’d just tolerate me. So I had to really analyze myself and focus on how the people around us operate and I noticed they have a whole network of flying monkeys, I can’t even go down the street without several people trying to keep tabs on me. I’m sick of this, these no point in living if it’s like this, life is a rigged scam.

You do realise people who simply suffer with insecurities and jealousy suffer the same. It doesn't mean they are narcissistic. Exposure is fine to me as change and growth is possible with coping mechanisms do help

Am I rich? No, not to me but I don't worry about money too often. Prettier? How would you go about getting a guy who only likes blonds into redheads? I'm sorry but much of this so called "facts about narcissists" just doesn't wash well
