I Ran Everyday for 30 Days and It Changed Everything

During the hottest days of Summer I challenged myself to run every single day - for 30 days. With gyms being closed and my shoulder injury preventing me from lifting, I decided it was finally time to confront my biggest limiting belief... that I am not a runner (and that I will always be bad at running). The journey not only changed my body and how it adapted to the demands of running, but most importantly, my mind.

My dad was in the Navy and he was super fit and my brother was a triathlete and I’ve kinda taken after them but wasn’t doing anything competitive.
I feel that being a hybrid athlete is the best. Although I don’t run all too much, I’d never miss a week without one run and some sprints. Weight training combined with running are absolutely essential in my books 💯

that's awesome, i'm riding my bike for the last 10 days straight, waking up at 5am. I get home at 10am with a sense of achievement. doing sth for 30 days is definetely life changing

This is so inspiring and amazing. I absolutely love this. You are so strong and insightful. I love your mindset, attitude and devotion. You are incredible. It resonated with me a lot, because I've been off running due to an injury (thankfully it gave me the opportunity to fall in love with weight lifting as well as running) and it's been hard getting back into it. More mentally than physically, I believe, because of course I'm not as good as I was. Which is okay and I just need to build back up again, forgetting about the time, pace and distance - dropping all the egotistical things - and simply doing it. Your video really helped put that into perspective, so thank you.

My issue with running everyday is I just dont know how long of distance I should be running at my weight each day 🤔
