This is incorrect. Full ROM is key, particularly on the DB Chest Press. You can still train the pectoral muscles isometrically in the flexed position when your elbows are at full extension.

Cutting the ROM short means you are minimising your strength potential and in tern, dropping the intensity of the lift itself. If you’re going for max weight / max effort within the 8-12 hypertrophic range, locking the elbows on almost all pressing movements is not only optimal but essential IMO.

Hmm, ive heard the opposite of this, instead of not fully extending the arms you don't max out your arms so which is it ??

Actually locking out shortens the chest even more and even hypothetically, there is very little tension on the chest at that joint angle. This is just stupid bro science.
