My 2021 F-150 FX4 reg cab short bed 5.0 did 13.5 1/4 mile and 5 seconds flat 0-60 stock, now it does 11.5 in the 1/4 mile and 3.5 0-60 with a whipple stage 2 VAS 3/5 suspension Viking shock and VAS traction bars.

My 2016 regular cab 5.0, 4.10 4x4 ran 12.7 tuned with headers and exhaust

A reg cab short bed with the same gears and 5.0 should do better than that you think ?

I almost, almost bought a F150 22' or 23' then, having worked ay a dealer for long time, I checked Oasis, the service/tech database and WOW, I found out why there are more F150's, all engines, but more V8's, 2021-2023 in the shop bats and in line at service than cars, 4 to 1. Shocked!!!!. 36 recalls and TSB's of all kinds. Seems worlds #1 selling truck is now worlds #1 most unreliable. I would not kerp one of these if it was free!!!!. I'd trade it for a Dodge Ram half the Recalls/TSB's this last 3 yrs or a 20'-23' Tundra. The fact Ford went the route of GM's 5 decade of fail by adding cylinder deactivation which saves 1/10 of 1 gallon of fuel per tank and might improve mpg 1 mile depending on load and right foot, is not worth it. Or dumping the chain driven oil pump for a belt!!!! I dont gove a rats tail that its made of kevlar, its a belt and belts slip and break. Abosolute garbage.

Love the F150- Always had one. I like the extended cab due to the suicide door - BUT NO LEATHER AND NO SUNROOF I had to go with a Tundra! I got leather and sunroof extended cab for 58k! The F150 Lariat extended cab was the closest but no sunroof and 12k more! Bye bye Ford. Ashame.

4x4 will kill your 0-60 time, way more drivetrain losses splitting out the torque front and back. You go from losing 10% to almost 20%
