MIB1/MIB2 High maps update on bench (MHIG MHI2 MHI2Q)

How to update navigation database maps in MIB High unit (MHIG, MHI2, MHI2Q) on bench, without ignition on signal emulator. Without the signal, unit will go to sleep after about 15 minutes. This is too short to perform maps update. Download will not complete before MIB main unit goes to standby mode. There's a trick that you can do: instead triggering the update form the maps menu, do it from the hidden menu. This way unit will reboot into SWDL mode and will not turn off without ignition signal.

Is any activation of 2023/24 maps required for older vehicles on MHIG (Audi A3 8V MIB1)? Fec/swap codees? CID patch? Or do these security bypasses only apply to MIB2 units?

Cannot work with: Version: MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P41212 - MU Software: 1177. for Europe Maps.
Even after installing the M.I.B. software, the 023000ee is not available and I cannot add / Update new Maps.

What is the difference between MiB Standard and MiB High? Can you do the high software and maps on the standard one?

I have had no luck with Skoda Octavia MKIII on Mib1High. I forced the map update and it did it however not navigation data is not valid anymore after 30 seconds of restarting the infotainment. Installed Fec is for lifetime updates so not sure why i can't get it to work.

Hello, I cannot update the navigation maps on my 2017 Ateca. I've tried several files from the site(s) but none seems to work. Only the P350_N60S file is read, but it shows "F" at NavDB and "F" at all the individual countries. Do I need to update the firmware first?

That doesn't work for me. I don't have Mapcare. How can I activate MapCare? Can I patch it with the TOOLBOX for MIB2 High? If so, can you make a video where you activate Mapcare with the TOOLBOX? I have updated the system. Now I have MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709 (MU: 1447)

Hi @mr-fix, thanks for your videos much appreciated. I've completed the 2022/23 maps update on my MIB MHI2Q (ER_AUG22_P5092_MU1329) last year. I'm trying to update the 2024 maps P333_N60S5MIBH3_ROW and also tried the P313_N60S5MIBH3_ROW following MIB Helper website. However getting message, the data are not compatible or are outdated. I have all legal FEC activation keys 023D002E used for 2022/23, 023D0032, 023D00EE and 023000EE. what is the FEC code required for ROW maps 2023/24. Are there any separate Australian maps for download?

Hi i used files from mib solutions. And a error occured. Some files could not be downloaded, now its stuck in a loop. It is retrying to update the file over and over. If i cancel it gets stuck on: the device will restart now. Is there a fix for it. Or is my mib permanently bricked?
