I knew about the cheese and some dried meats. Cheese is an obvious one because cheese is created through the molding process. Blue cheese, and Brie are a couple of obvious ones where you eat the mold. Breads get a certain smell when they are about to go moldy. If you live in a place where the climate is hot your bread will last longer if kept in the refrigerator. You can even freeze bread, if you must. However, bread is so inexpensive these days, why freeze it? Hope this helps😁👍

I just ate one piece of moldy ham. My mom told me to eat something and said we had ham so I of course just grabbed it and ate, I didn’t see it. Luckily I held most of it in my mouth and was able to spit most of it out. I really hope nothing happens to me, today has been terrible already :/

I've picked off mold from bread and still ate it. I suggest if you have antibiotic allergies that you don't do it. I'm perfectly fine, once mold is black you should get rid of it maybe even burn it.

Short answer throw away soft food with mold, cut off the mold on hard food and you are good

I know people who have eaten moldy stuff after actually removing mold and they lived long lives. That is indeed too much risk for me.
On another hand I know people who throw away completely fine stuff just because it is expired. Tons of food is wasted.
I was in a shop and I wanted o get a discount on an expired bread. The lady took that bread and she said she had to throw it away. I came back to the shop in 20 min and the expired bread was still there for the same price.
