I quit all dairy, and 2 weeks later could actually use my hands again. 7 years now. 💪🏼

If you stop eating any processed food, you won't have to worry about labels. 99% of salad dressings are unfit to eat. Make your own.

I used to eat like this and was always sick or in pain. Two years of 100% carnivore (meat, fish, eggs, butter) and all conditions including arthritis and pre-diabetes are gone. Off all meds and zero inflammation where I used to be burning up.

I think Drs. John McDougall, T. Colin Campbell, Joel Fuhrman and Michael Greger would agree with your diet recommendations. Whole foods, plant based will improve and prevent many chronic conditions. Your videos are very helpful.

I was able to drop my cholesterol by 41 points and avoided taking a statin by eliminating all dairy from my diet. I do allow myself to have half and half and sugar in my coffee, an occasional slice of cheese pizza, and macaroni and cheese around the holidays. Switched to almond milk for drinking and for use in high fiber cereals like Kashi. I try to avoid processed foods, ( we all slip at times- thanks for your balanced approach!), eat meat as an ingredient in meals, rather than the main portion, and increased my intake of fruits and vegetables including garlic, onions, ginger, avocados, cherries, blueberries, lentils, seeds and nuts. I also try to drink 2-3 quarts of liquids per day, in the form of water, unsweetened iced tea, or seltzer to avoid sugar, artificial sweeteners, or drinking my calories.
At 57, sticking with regular exercise for strength, tone, and flexibility has been the most difficult part for me. Your videos, with short, simple and targeted exercises have been so motivating! I went out and bought an exercise mat yesterday, and plan to follow your videos regularly. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to do this.

I am here because 1. I appreciate what Dr Kirstie Enis is teaching us and 2. Because I am learning to manage the fibromyalgia flare ups.

Saturated fat like avocado, coconut oil and grass fed butter, tallow are not inflammatory. Meat, fatty fish, eggs and butter have helped me lose 35 pounds in 8 months. Reduced pain. Increased energy.

I have a pint of organic whole milk vanilla yogurt every day I eat. I add in two or three tablespoons of ground flaxseeds, a handful of walnuts and a Brazil nut soaked for six hours. On even days I add in two tablespoons of cacao nibs.
I also add in spices and herbs. Today I added cayenne pepper, seven grams of turmeric, black pepper and ginger, sage and three grams of cinnamon.

This is consistent with the eating advice I got to tame psoriasis after 18 months of traditional meds not helping, (but avoid nightshade family of plants -chillis (damn love em), tomatoes potatoes etc). Improvement after 2 or 3 weeks, "fixed" in 2 -3 months.

A few years ago, I started experiencing really intense heartburn when starting my runs. It would usually go away after about 10-15 minutes of running. I started to dread running. One way around it was to do a short bike ride before the run. Quite by accident, I discovered that eating raw ginger root (say 1" by 1" chunk) prior to the run stopped the heartburn. What a relief! Prior, I'd had a few good experiences drinking Kombucha with Turmeric prior to the run. I thought it was the Turmeric but it turns out the Kombucha was ginger flavor. It was the ginger that was helping.

Vitamin C in spinach only 36% in 100 grams. That's not the best source. Sauerkraut has 700% of Vitamin C in 100 grams. Parsley has 160% vitamin C. And dill has 100% vitamin C of daily value

All great advice! I also have to avoid night shades (tomato, potato, peppers, eggplant, etc) as they actually cause pain & inflammation for me.
