Has someone told David Gilmour he sounds better on this performance than the original??? Considering the original is amazing David has only gotten better with age. R.I.P. Richard Wright

People will remember them long after the last of the Pink Floyd have gone. Such is their music and power of the songs. There will never be another band like this again.

Strings were never meant to bend that much. However, one man found the beauty and soul it took to make it happen. This is that man. Thank you, David Gilmour, for the incredibly aching feeling you made us feel with your gift. Music will forever be in your debt, now, and even one hundred years from now.

I have no doubt that between 100-200 years in the future, people will look back at masters like Gilmour and Wright the way we look back at composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven etc. today.

I just love that Rick sang on this, having Rick performing on this tour makes it my favorite of all Gilmours live solo stuff, this whole concert series has so many great moments, Echoes, Bowie sining Arnold Layne with David and Rick, and so many others.

45 years old. I heard this song for the first time in my 14 teenage mind. And changed my life for ever. Bye Rick. RIP

I shook his hand in 1989 and told him that his art had helped to shape my life. He nodded (he’d heard this same thing a million times before) and he said “thank you.” Not “thanks” he’d heard it so many times before but he still meant that “thank you”. A true gentleman and artist. If ever do i get to heaven, and God says “hey, David Gilmore is just starting to play that solo from comfortably numb for eternity”. I’d go “yup, this is heaven.”

Man....in 50+years, Mr. Gilmour hasn't lost a step! A Pink Floyd fan since the late 70's\early 80's, I've admired the passion which is written with his fingers, voice, and lyrics in everything that he does. A true genius, and a true legend.
