"Alright I'll do it, Roger. So long as I'm 50ft away."

Gilmour's second solo is one of mankind's greatest achievements.

That noise of thousands of people losing their shit at the same time is priceless

I can’t even imagine being so psyched to see Roger Waters and The Wall, enjoying the show and singing along and then David Gilmour pops up out of fucking nowhere to sing the chorus and play the solos on Comfortably Numb. I would have passed out where I stood.

Roger basically turns into a fan here. It’s magical.

The Moment Dave begins to sing @ 1:31 to 1:35 and then the audience realizes its David Gilmour singing you can almost feel the reaction of the audience intensify in the best way possible

You look at the smile on Roger Waters' face at 1:27, and you just know he's thinking 'Prepare to have your minds blown, people!!"  What a gift this was for those in the crowd.

I was lucky enough to be there, flew from France where I was working, it's true that there were rumors about David Gilmour playing a bit, I've been thinking about it all day wishing I could have chosen the right night. Then the show began, it was so beautiful that I stopped thinking about that possibility. I just enjoyed the magic. Suddenly the magic became a dream. His sudden appearance? Pure adrenaline. I felt it. Jesus was I lucky... 10 years has passed but if I close my eyes and I concentrate, I'm still there.

This could only be compared to if John Lennon had walked out on stage during a Paul McCartney concert. Sheer magic.

I was there that night. On the ground - one of those arms punching the air could be mine. All week there had been rumours online that Dave was going to play one night. I assumed it would be the Saturday - the last night of the run. But this was Thursday - when the spotlight hit the top of the wall myself and 20, 000 other people entered a special few minutes of shared rapture and joy. We were the lucky ones. I never saw Pink Floyd play but I have seen Dave and Roger on their solo tours. Nick Mason was also there that night and came on stage at the end. Its the closest I will ever come to seeing the band.

Man, I would've cried like a baby if I was there witnessing Gilmour and Waters on the same stage. Too bad David was practicing social distancing here

1:31 gave me chills not only because of David showing outta no where but the irony of him and roger standing far apart from eachother between the "the wall" they created separating them both metaphorically and literally. Do they even realize how many little signs there are from their music and universe that is relevant in their own relationship? Or does their hate run that deep... surely they see the signs to let bygones be bygones. One or the other really going to regret it when one or the other passes away in 25 plus years

At the end of the song:
- Uf, finally I could go to the toilet, did I miss something?

I'll never forget when me, my wife and brother were trying to figure out which night Gilmour was going to be on for the 5 shows that Waters did in London. She said we surely had to buy the first night, but I believed that was too obvious and suggested that we go for the second night instead. My brother said I was insane and would kill me if Gilmour showed up the opening night. Needless to say I nailed it. :D 4th row centre tickets, most incredible concert ever, and looking up to see Gilmour so high above us was so surreal. Amazing night.

As a true Pink Floyd fan and, naturally, knowing the whole history of the rift between Waters and Gilmour, watching this delightful and very rare reunion makes me, a 55-year-old man, look at them and cry like a teenage girl. ....

I don't think I've ever seen Roger Waters smile so much.

I love both musicians, but I gotta say that David's voice hits you in the face like a breeze of cool air from the north pole. What a beautiful voice!!
