I'm 63, and this solo still gives me the chills. DG is the greatest ever. Notice how really talented guitarists have no need to dance around and showboat. They just play! I've looped this solo into an hour long track, just cant stop listening.

With 74 still the same voice. Long live David Gilmour. 💪

The simplicity with which Gilmour creates the most epic music ever heard from an electric guitar will never cease to amaze me.

He is far better over the last 30 years. Then he was early in his career. He has always been a fantastic guitar player now his voice is even better than it was. He is simply the best.

David's masterful guitar playing is some of the most soulful sounds I've ever heard come out of a guitar in the context of great and timeless songs...

Still got the original vinyl, sounds a great as ever. But listening to him playing it over the years, it's amazing how he just gets even better with time.

Listening to David Gilmour’s guitar and voice is the perfect medicine for the soul.

The neatest thing about David is that unlike so many other legends, he hasn’t missed a beat as he has grown older. I once read that’s because he continues to practice when he’s not playing out. His concert in Pompeii is one for the ages. One of the very best guitarists of all time!👍

One the few that can send chills through your body and tears from your eyes at the same time.

What a shame these are all old men now. Talented guys like this shouldn't age. RIP Richard William Wright.

I’ve heard it hundreds of times and still get goosebumps when David Gilmour begins singing.

I like David's older wiser, crustier voice! His guitar licks have gotten smoother!

Still amazes me that 54 people disliked this.
Gilmore is superb especially "live"

David (and Roger!) created a timeless deliciously depressing album in the purely English manner... David’s solos cry out beautiful sadness that rivals Mozart and Mahler. The Floyd, Led Zep and The Stones forever!

Incredible
Dave was so powerful then and sounds even stronger in his 70’s. Rock forever This song will never die.
