Gameplay advice:

Smaller Motion Window Attacks: Attacks with smaller motion windows are often safer because they allow for quicker canceling, giving you more room to react to incoming threats. This helps in avoiding getting hit by powerful attacks like Flame Attacks, which often come after a wind-up animation.
Longsword Specifics: For the Longsword, using a combination of the Circle (or O) and Triangle (or △) attacks on PS5 is a smart choice. These attacks are relatively quick and can be chained, giving you the flexibility to either maintain offensive pressure or quickly cancel into a dodge if needed. The Longsword's Spirit Blade combos also give you access to powerful follow-ups, so mastering these shorter, quicker strikes is essential.
In general, balancing offense and defense is key, and knowing when to commit to a longer attack versus a safer, faster one is what separates good players from great ones.
