As someone who solely focuses on heavy offense roles (GS in MH3tri, DBs in MH4U, IG in MHG, LS in WorldBorne, and CB in MHR.) I can’t say enough how thankful I am for Lance hunters who play multiplayer. For the most part, they’re the reason I was willing to overcome the learning curve that come from multiplayer and also master rank quests.

I do remember using CB and doing a guard point to block the cone fire breath. I thought I was dead for sure but it locked me into the block animation, making the block sound like 10 times, and legitimately saved me.
I also blocked it for a teammate when I was using gunlance one time, and it felt awesome. I recently picked up lance in Sunbreak and it’s great.
