In this video I show my journey of learning the human flag from zero to flag. It was a difficult process with a lot of ups and downs. However a year later I got it done. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Yo dude props on this. I've always used the excuse I'm too tall to work on this one. This video piqued my interest!

This was a good video. You’ve gave me ideas on exercises and places I could go to use the equipment similar to what you used. I guess it’s going to be harder than I thought.

Good job.

As someone who is also 6’3 and struggles with push ups… this just gave me so much motivation. You’re like a superhero for the human mind in perseverance

I started this process in a similar matter, after 4 weeks I can now hold the position for like 2-3 seconds. But man at 6’6 220 lbs it’s really tough to keep it going. I’m still going to work on trying to maintain the position for at least 5 seconds and hopefully get there by December. 😅

Also love the content!

Great video! This is so inspiring. That inspiration got me a little too hyped and made me did excessively on my first ever pull day i guess. Can you do a video about popping shoulders and injuries in calisthenics in general as well as how to prevent or cure them? Many beginners such as myself will surely find it useful. (My shoulder pops when i rotate it, no pain though. But when lift stuffs it hurts a little)

Hi! I watch this video again and was surprised that the first time I watched it I didn’t notice that you were 6‘3“ tall! A lot of our weight is below the waist. The longer the legs, the heavier they are. On other videos of people doing the human flag, they appear to be shorter in stature, thus having less weight to lift. Colin, this is an amazing accomplishment! Kudos to you! I really enjoy your videos, and the wonderfully kind spirit that goes along with them! Thank you for being so entertaining!

This is why I love calisthenics. It’s not about just increasing the amount of weight you can lift over the years, you unlock insanely cool skills like this and the journey towards unlocking them can be so humbling but rewarding. I wonder where I’ll be in 5-10 years with calisthenics, super exciting

Do a video on training strength and applied strength.
That'll be interesting to watch and learn your opinions on it!

good shit king. I was thinking of training this skill next spring/summer because there's an outdoor park with stall bars near me! I definitely need to gain some muscle and strength first though.
