Road to Human Flag | Weeks 1-3 | Calisthenics Progress Vlog
Показать описание
Follow my journey as I learn the human flag!
As you may already know, I had a motorbike accident which left me unable to calisthenics for 8 months. As a consequence, I lost all the skills I worked so hard to get – including the human flag. But now that I have been working out and training calisthenics for the last 10 months, I feel like I am finally ready to start training the human flag again!
This “road to” video series will record my journey as I learn the human flag. You will see how I go about learning this skill, so that you can incorporate some of these training methods into your own training if you desire. I will also be sharing some really valuable workout tips, so I suggest you watch the whole video because I drop little nuggets of gold along the way that will really help you accelerate your progress with your calisthenics training.
It’s no secret: the human flag is a difficult calisthenics skill to achieve. It takes a lot of core and upper body strength to pull off. Specifically, it involves a lot of shoulder, lat, oblique, abdominal, and lower back strength to perform. But the human flag is not as hard as it looks. In fact, I’d say it’s easier than the front lever. However, it still requires a tremendous amount of strength, so it’s best to master the fundamental calisthenics skills (push ups, pull ups, and dips) and some advanced calisthenics skills (like the muscle up and one leg front lever) before you attempt the human flag.
Hope you enjoy the video, and happy training!
