Omg! One of your former students now practicing in LA sent me to you! Great stretches and solutions! I've seen 8 different foot docs and 4 PTs that don't have these basic stretches! 🤪 Why not!

WOW I LOVE this video.. as someone who suffers from FIVE Morton's Neuromas  (amongst other foot problems) this stretch has helped me tremendously!!! My former TWO Podiatrist never even showed me stretches for my feet....EVER!!! which now, after viewing Dr McClanahan's videos, I think had they, I could have avoided further injury to my feet !! I've been doing this stretch for about a month now and even within a few days, my feet began to feel better and less tight.. prior, after walking for about an hour, my feet would ache and burn with pain... however, now that I stretch them out at various points in the day, there is an amazing difference!!!! keep the videos coming.. I just love that my feet feel so much better !!!

Omg I've had this issue for years and NO ONE; including a top rated podiatrist could explain what was happening. He told me that sunken extensor was just the natural shape of my foot, and that didnt sound right to me. I left the office with an 800 dollar pair of custom inserts that just made my feet hurt more. Thank you for this! How many times a day should I do this and how many reps? How long before people typically see a change in their foot shape and or feel relief?

I'd love to see if this stretch can help me. I had a cortisone shot for neuroma in January, but the pain returned after a few weeks and worsens whenever I walk for exercise. Can you tell me how often to do the stretch? One per day or more than that?

A few years ago I think I noticed the cramping you mentioned from trying to move my foot/ toes. I thought it was strange since I hadn't had it before. Now that I am learning I need to begin stretching my feet and toes I am noticing just how bad it is, and how my problem is not just my bones or joints like it appears. Thank you for pointing out the role of these muscles and that the cramping is not because I am doing it wrong.

I am just starting the stretches and my whole foot tingles after only two or three repetitions, particularly my left foot as I do not have a severe bunion there and have spent less time working on it.

Thank you for your excellent videos and Comfort Toes product. Q: when pressing 2nd toe toward ball of foot (plantar flexion?), I feel discomfort in capsule. Should I still do stretch and ice afterward, or can i modify stretch?

Thank you very much for making this video doctor. This is my far the best advice I have seen on You Tube. I have pain on only one of my big toe's ball of foot joint underneath due to lack of fat pad cushioning possibly caused by the way I walk. My ball of foot pain had came and went for about 7 months now, I just hope it's not too late to bring the fat pad back to its original positions.

This hurt like hell when I tried it but I’m going to continue on a daily plan w this one to see if knee and foot pain lessens so I can get back to running again…stay tuned!

i am not an athlete 75 year old with arthritis. after doing this exercise myself, i rest my toe joints on a cushion and bend backwards and the toe is no longer crossing over the big toes, i feel so fantastic about it

Yes. Also the hero’s pose in yoga is good for this. Thanks so much for all your videos. I just bought a pair of CorrectbToes and I felt an immediate difference.

Hi Dr McClanahan, Thanks for the video.  I have what seems to be inflammation of the extensor tendons at the top of my foot roughly over the cuneiform bones (or at least that's what the physio tells me).  Do you think this stretch can help with that condition? Or do you have any other online advice for that?  Thank you
