Yes, it's a very sinister abuser who keeps it all secret and does all of these things and more. Which affects the whole rest of your life. Jim is right. You have to find your support and to get out safely. And don't expect the courts to help you. You have to do it yourself.

My ex of 2.5 years kicked me in the head by "accident" getting up off the bed. I was upset and told him to get off me, I walked off to calm down. Came back 10 mins later to ask if he would apologize or comfort me. He gave me the silent treatment. Within that same moment I broke up with him. If a man can't comfort you or reassure you that he isn't trying to harm you, that is a sign that he will physically abuse you one day. He was 6"3 and have a large heavy foot. I had a headache the entire day.

I've had a restraining order put on my Narc who would rage on me. He would kidnap me from my home and pretty much hold me hostage through threats and coercion. He would have to let me go because he knew I had to get home to my daughter and if I didn't come home she would look for me. By the time the night hit, he was back at my door, threatening me and coercing me to leave. It's been 6 months since I got out and he calls me multiple times a day "No CALLER ID". This man came back and forth to my home 63 times in one week. He followed me to work, he called my job, and he would threaten to meet me at work if I didn't meet his demands. The protective order has helped me so much because he no longer comes to my home, job, and/or calls my job, but I believe he stalks me from afar. If you're with a Malignant Narcissist GET OUT! My nerves are bad, I have anxiety, and I'm always looking over my shoulder.

What do you do when you’ve gone to the police, domestic violence shelter, attorneys, therapists, what’s left of friends and family and they either care only about parental rights, don’t believe you, or can’t grasp the situation let alone know how to help? What do you when your 3 year old is kidnapped by our abuser who then files false allegations to keep mother and child separated? What do you do when it’s been almost a year later and parental alienation has rooted and the Courts still side with our abuser?

When I left my ex Narc husband I had absolutely zero family and friends support because in those days nobody supported women who claimed that their husband's were abusing them so it was actually frowned upon.
BUT!!! I didn't let it stop me from leaving which lead me back to my FREEDOM. It takes alot of inner strength to find the courage to run the other way and never look back so here I am 40 years later living a magical existence that I created on my own 💫🙏💫

Just out of an abusive relationship. Friends who haven't experienced this will ask me 'why did you stay?' That's not helpful. I'm already dealing with my own shame for staying so long. I could see it but couldn't detach. Friends need to stop asking that question. I'm not stupid. Stop questioning my intelligence.

he left me due to my mental healthy apparently straining us. it took us breaking up for me to realize he narcissistic he was and how manipulative he was. he wouldn’t let me set certain boundaries. blamed me and turned every argument into my fault, even if it was his.
i told him sometimes i can’t control my thoughts, he called me psychotic and said i need to ‘fix myself’ and woke up the next morning like nothing happened.
i thought i wasn’t normal and that i literally needed to be fixed. that i was a broken piece of sh!t. turns out he was fueling that and just turned the tables on me, saying i haven’t been helping myself as he’s been trying to ‘help me’.
now it’s been 5 days and he’s already interested in someone else.
it took me 9 months to realize this as he broke up with me 5 days ago. freakin’ crazy.
if he truly loved me, would he have stayed and just stood with me along my healing journey?
your healing journey should take as long as you need, i thought.
