I was having panic attacks for a couple of years and it was like almost everyday, and a youtuber said exactly what you're saying and I did it it was hard to accept it at times but I kept reminding myself that it will pass, and yes it's been 2years now I have no panic attacks . Thanks for this video, if anyone is suffering from panic attacks or anxiety attacks, just do what's in the vid, it' true, Ik it might be hard but it works and you'll get back to your normal life sooner.

I’ve had anxiety at night whenever I have something the next day. Things such as a first day on a job, a trip, sleeping over my gf house. The night before I will get nonstop shaking, nausea, and won’t be able to sleep, or if I’m lucky I’ll force myself to sleep. it’s sucks because I never used to have anxiety before and was able to do all these things perfectly fine. I hope one day my life will go back to normal again….

I'm glad I found this channel. As a large content creator myself I have had anxiety for years but only now has it gotten pretty worse with panic attacks every other day. But this has helped tremendously, my attacks have stopped but I will still get some anxiety, so still long way to go. I hope I can interview you one day

these videos are one of a kind. the anxiety guru's leave me feeling empty and helpless. your videos do just the opposite. you lay out the truth in a wonderful and reassuring fashion that is extraordinarily reassuring. i feel so fortunate to have found your channel and i will share it with anyone i come across that has anxiety and panic. thank you so very much for what you do.

This is great Martin and extremely informative, based on sound CBT principals. I would love to hear you sharing a podcast or video with Drew Linsalata of The Anxious Truth. Thanks for posting these great videos.

Spot on, mate. This is what I taught my daughter a few years ago when she was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. It's understanding what is happening to you and not what you THINK is happening that helps. When you lose the fear of anxiety attacks, they just fade off.
The human body is a lot stronger than we're thinking. Our hearts can beat fast and hard for hours...it won't kill us. If you're of average health, nothing will ever happen. Always good to get a general check over with the doc if you can.
I was agoraphobic when i was younger...i wish i knew then what i know now. It's just the body's way of protecting yourself...but you're imaging the 'threat'.

You have no idea how thankful I am for this video. I've been in therapy for months and this makes more sense than anything I've been told. Thank you

Martin, thank you so much for these videos. I've fully gotten over panic disorder. It wasn't easy, but I finally got that one out of the way. All that's left is anxiety symptoms, which so far seems to be even harder than panic attacks themselves, since I would assume a panic attack was anxiety about anxiety itself. I have no safety behaviors anymore, but it seems like the baseline anxiety comes up every once in a while and it's very uncomfortable. However, I'm going to move forward with just not doing anything about it and try my best to just continue the task at hand no matter what.

Thanks for just not being full of crap, honestly. I admire that you do not sell safety behaviors, because that was what was holding me back from recovering from panic disorder for so long. Breathing techniques, ice packs, tapping, and doing all of that non sense never helped at all. Acceptance for long amounts of time, continuing to do what you need to do, and accepting set backs seem to be the key to most of this.

Wow. Thank you so much. Definitely a lot of safety behaviours I didn't realize were conditioning my brain to trigger anxiety, like for example I started noticing that every time I went outside id get brain fog and hazy blurry tunnel vision. I started thinking about how that might happen every time I step outside. Brutal.

I am so glad I found your various channels. I have completely fallen apart during the pandemic. I have IBS and painful bladder. I can barely leave the house but I think your hypnosis will really help,
