My friend is an optometrist and she said she loves the schedule. Never working past 6pm. The only drawback is that there are only about 13 schools currently in the USA to obtain your degree/license.

I became interested in optometry while I was working on an assignment outlining my future. I had physical therapy as my number 1 and optometry at number 2. I was checking the list off about what I had to say for physical therapy and I didn't really feel anything. I didn't read much into that emotion until I started typing about optometry. I kept typing and typing, and eventually had to cut down my words. This was for sure an eye opener to say the least, and my passion for it became concrete after about a month where I got to read a little more about the profession and see videos like these making me excited to get things going.
