Ofcorse not being consistent and discipline enough can be major reasons for not losing weight. But other than that 💁🏻‍♀️ -

1. Binging on healthy food - alot of us have a mindset that if a food is categorise as healthy, that gives us the permission to eat as much as we want. Even if something is really healthy the calories of it still count. So enjoy your treats in moderation 🙌🏽

2. Lack of water - alot of times you feel hungry but we are really just thirsty. So the next time you feel hungry Instead of grabbing snacks , drink water first and ask yourself if you are truly hungry or dehydrated.

3. Weight lifting can help to build and preserve muscle mass , prevent metabolic slowdown. If you include strength training in your routine your body continues to burn fat even after the workout 💪🏼

4. Stuck in the same routine - you must have been doing the same thing over and over again. So if you have been in the same routine and losing weight for many months and hit a plateau. Try something different - sleep more, eat more than you use to, try new activities or take a break.

You need to remember that Instead of focusing on the end goal, enjoy the journey. Thats how you'll stay consistent! 😌🤍

There are plenty of people who don't lift weights and stick to cardio exercises to lose weight, and it worked. Lifting weights is cool if you want to build muscle but not a necessity if you want to lose fat.

This is actually true, i was so fat in class 7 but then i quit junk food(was a kid so once in a month), quit soft drinks, started sleeping more, started drinking water, not lifting but exercised for 25 minuted, i'm fit then ever after the years

Edit- i was lifting too and that increased my height from 5’4 to 5’10.5… currently 16 with abs and 14.7 inch biceps (i play football so don’t lift currently for agility)

It’s true people think if they eat healthy they should also be healthy, but if you still over eat it would be a problem.

Some people have what is called stubborn fat, it’s fat that is basically really hard to loose through dieting and exercise. If your not loosing weight and your trying REALLY HARD to you might just have stubborn fat!

There are so many other reasons too.. Health problems like pcos, thyroid disorders, other hormone imbalances etc.

I’ve lost tons of weight many times in my life, and I definitely haven’t been lifting weights or drinking lots of water, what I did do was eat a hell of a lot less in general, and absolutely no junk.
