A number of years ago I learned that Zen proverb: "When you eat, eat. When you walk, walk." It made a huge impact on me to read about it, and while I certainly can't say live by it 100%, I try to be as consistent as possible. Savoring your food is also a way to feel gratitude for it. 🥗 I'm looking forward to an early dinner tonight, and reading my book afterwards. BnF, bringing the new year to new heights. 💗

Soo challenging. We live in a world that is constantly moving and having a time where you "only" eat in silence sounds difficult.
Really enjoyed trying to eat my snack without phone or tv.
Definitely implementing this practice into my days 🙏🙏

After food poisoning yesterday I am very mindful of the food I am eating. Perfect timing.

I did enjoy this…however even though I had someone to eat with I felt lonely almost. But I was able to focus on the physiological aspects, providing my body with nutrition. This was nice, and as I do more breathing practice, I can feel my body’s metabolism and digestion changing. For the good.
Thanks again for all the work you have done to provide this guided practice to persons of the world! Namaste 🙏

Thank you so much for this one you two! I literally watched it while having my dinner - and immediately closed my laptop after these 53seconds of input. Then truly enjoyed, smelled, touched my meal - feeling truly satiated after. Will implement this now. It is a game changer to the way you nurish your body!

It was very interesting to observe the urges I had to make myself busy while I was eating…. Even with thoughts! This was a wonderful and much needed reminder to come back to the present moment!

Incredibly difficult for me to remember this one. Even though I've known about the benefits for over a decade, I only manage to practice every once in a while. I don't think I achieved it at all today - great reason to carry this forward through the rest of the challenge. Thank you!

The first thing I noticed was the sound of my coffee then the crunch of granola then the quote from Millhouse in ‘the Simpsons’ “it’s like there’s a party in my mouth and everyone’s invited’ 🤣 I feel more full than I have ever done with the same breakfast (and quantity) I have had everyday for the last year. 🙏🏻

👍 I knew this is important and it’d be good to do but actually doing it feels AWESOME!! Did this for breakfast and dinner and I can slow down, taste my food and appreciate! Plus being pregnant this helps with no rushing food inside 🙌❤️

This was a hard challenge. Having an eating disorder, focusing on my food creates lots of emotions. But i Also realized i lost sense of taste due to co-vid. It is an interesting challenge, i'm going to keep this one for little while.

So, I do the challenges a day after it comes out, (different time zones) but I'm so loving it, these challenges just get better, and this is the best as of now, I love food and I love eating alone and mindfully (but sometimes or rather most of the time I overeat 🙈) so I had a mindful breakfast and I'm so looking forward to lunch.
