You have done more off-road and pickup things with this than some people with 100k raptors and range rovers do. Love the video thanks.

I would use the AC at least once a week for 5 minutes to maintain the hoses, keeping them lubricated so they won't crack and leak.

Its essentially a more practical golf cart and i mean that in a good way. Small, rather simple cars like that are fun, i honestly hope that stuff like that will get more mainstream-appeal.

I’m really impressed with this little electric truck. It’d be great on my farm instead of using a gator truck. Fully enclosed and air conditioning option and I love the moon roof, push button start, dial shifter, racks and off road lights. That lift feature is killer, too!

Small and simple electric vehicles for roaming around the area ... this is actually what the world needs!

This is an example of why the US auto market is in trouble. They are releasing vehicles at price points we can't compete with, at every level. I need a small utility vehicle soon for my property. $2K is pretty darned appealing. I am looking at Polaris and similar tech at over $20K, but the price on this is incredible. Wish there was a 4X4 or raised bed option and better suspension but this is a lot for the money. Love the dump bed.

That’s great that you are enjoying it! These tiny electric trucks are actually pretty popular among Chinese villagers in more rural areas, using it for similar purposes that you are.

I was curious because I never heard about this manufacturer, then i did some research: This truck is really something made for low income villagers in rural area in China and it would not even be allowed to have a licence plate in most of the cities. I don't understand why there are so much stupid comments here. Isn't it a good thing to have a cheap truck like this which just gives the market a little bit more choices? You can spend $70k on a good reliable luxury made in China car like Nio, but when you only want to spend amount of moeny like this, what are you complainning? Sounds like give you 2k, you can give me a better truck made in the US?

Thank you for your sharing. As a Chinese, this is the first time I noticed such a cheap small electric vehicle. In fact, it is produced by an agricultural tricycle manufacturer, which means that its main users are actually Chinese farmers. It is for rural elderly users. For the ultra-low price of 2, 000 US dollars, I personally think it is a value-for-money car

I've owned Japanese mini trucks, 4wd 550cc and I'm not kidding g when I say that they are all many people need. I built 3 houses in hilly terrain with a low km Subaru sambar. This truck doesn't have the same road worthy features as a dedicated Japanese key truck but its got a place on farms. The AC addition is a nice add on. The real road going evs need to adopt high quality and lighter design I feel with incorporated pv panels low inertia wheels and lightweight materials ready for when batteries get lighter. Small experimental super light evs with solar panels have done thousands of km on an initial battery charge

What strikes me the most is how close you are to your dad, and as a dad it is heartwarming.

honestly, the truck seems to fit your use case perfectly. Seeing your dad talk about it just made me smile too, everyone seems to love it. Might not be the best truck, but it's got heart.

I just want to say how impressed I am with your website. The Chinese truck video was the one that hooked me into subscribing to your channel. I am an 82 yr old guy living in California and really enjoyed seeing you and your dad interacting on reviewing the truck. I wish I could use something like this in my bay area neighborhood, but thanks to the DMV I couldn't get it licensed . Keep your positive attitude regarding getting along in the global world with everyone, we need to live in peace to solve issues such as the warming of our beautiful planet.

Given the low price, a truck like this would be great for a do-it-yourself home owner who needs to haul bulky stuff but can't afford a typical pickup and doesn't want to trash the family car. For a trip or two to a big box store, the limited range wouldn't matter.

When it passes around the 1 year mark of ownership I would also like to see one more update to see if anything goes wrong within 1 year.

People don't understand that these trucks were made to run around Asia in some of the worst conditions, are they top quality no. But i would rather have a small truck over a 7k qaud any day.

I used to have a combustion engine version of one of these. After a few mods I could get it to 45mph, and it had a 4-gallon gas tank. Glad to see they are making electric versions now.

For the mirror you can easily get a replacement kit that has a mirror, the windshield mount block, and adhesive for relatively cheap and won't have to worry about it falling off
