BYD Unveils Hybrid Powertrain Capable of 2,000km Drive

BYD Co., the leader in electric vehicles in China, has unveiled a new hybrid powertrain capable of traveling more than 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles) without recharging or refueling. Danny Lee reports on Bloomberg Television.

The actual test data of multiple famous streamer show that the 2000km statement is conservative. In the case of turning on the air conditioner, the extreme driving distance of this car is between 2300-2600km

BYD need 200% tariff, 100% ain't gonna cut it, it is still cheaper than the Pirus phev, because many Toyota hybrid technology are actually developed by BYD, Toyota just bought the rights to use them.
And Toyota had been licensing the rights to use BYD's hybrid technology since 2016.
