for clarification it’s not a shortcake and its not included in the meal (they have a decent selection of desserts). it’s called a vacherin d’été which is a scoop of vanilla ice cream + raspberry sorbet with layers of meringue in between and a raspberry sauce poured over it.

Went to a similar (same beef cut+fries+sauce) restaurant in Paris with my ex boss, a Russian couple were sitting next to us and left before the second beef service (you got beef twice to make sure it’s still hot when eating + unlimited fries). The waiter gave the rest to us to avoid spoiling food, best experience in Paris !

went there years ago with my parents, sat at one of the bigger tables. waiter comes over ask if she can add somebody next to us.
who turns up? david fuckin hasselhoff and his daughters.
10/10 experience, would recommend.

As a chef I always tried to tell people focus on something and be great at it. Don’t try to have a menu with something for everyone. People have their favorites, be their favorite.

Been here in Paris and they give you as much steak as you’d like! It’s so good. The sauce is amazing too. You can get the steak cooked as much well as you want too for all the cry babies. The salad is amazing too. It’s priced really fairly too
