Dr. Shereen can you do a more in depth video about textured acne scars ? the techniques available (what are they best for) and in which order a patient should have them if they have the whole thing from severe acne. Some talk about dermabrasion (but i think its not good if there are microcysts but some dr. forget to say that, which can cause even worse results), others says co2, fraxel, microneedling, mesotherapy... depending on what machines they have in their cabinet. It's so frustrating 😫

I've had several sessions of subcision with micro needling/rf microneedling. There was some impact, but not overly substantial

It seems like I will have a long and expensive journey healing my scars

I did everything from subcision, laser treatment, TCA cross and microneedling - they barely help my skin. If these type of treatments doesn’t work, we should learn to embrace our skin.

Hi Dr. Shereene! What can I do about minor hypertrophic scars (gotten from badly healed acne)? I am wondering whether if retinol, vitamin c or copper peptides will make my scar better, worse or neutral. I want to start using any of these on my face for general purposes but I am worried about them causing the scar to grow. Please help, thank you!

I'm curious what you recommend for clogged pores (not whiteheads or blacks heads but full of sebum) due to a CPAP mask. The area around my nose (I use a nasal pillow mask) is getting wrecked.
