Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your feedback. I would say Piracetam and Choline Bitartrate. Start with half a teaspoon of Piracetam and a full teaspoon of Choline Bitartrate for the first week, twice a day, morning and evening or whatever fits your schedule. Once you start cycling you should start to feel the effects. If at any time you start to feel clouded or mentally stalled, dial the product back or take a few days off.

Nice informative video! Soon my AlphaBrain will arrive, and tomorrow I'll be ordering Noopept (also a Racetam). Can't wait to combine these two.

BuzWeaver - We (mostly) align with your insights (great material, BTW. Well thought through). We've discovered that most nootropics work best once they've peaked and are on the downward slope. It's as though the neurons want to normalize before they perform at their best - for recall, multitasking, or high focus.

We found, like it appears you have as well, that you can dramatically boost racetam uptake and response using adaptogens (eg Rhodiola, Pantothenic Acid, Curcumin) and finding creative methods to improve uptake through the Blood-Brain barrier.

Our original (and most experiential) developments have to be dissolved/suspended in water. The gut seems to reduce the intake levels measurably.

But we found when it comes to primarily oil-soluble racetams, we could blend and encapsulate, making a "capsule stack" with specific oils and B-vitamins.

You should definitely check out more of the racetam family. While Piracetam is a great intro, you can achieve a much higher nootropic response with either a combo of racetams. Or, for specific needs, discrete racetams (eg Pramiracetam) with a choline donor, adaptogen and stimulant. (The stimulant overcomes the brain's natural tendency feel fatigued as the racetams accelerate glucose metabolism).

Thanks again for the well articulate piece. True sanity in what is fast becoming somewhat messy, shark filled waters.

Great information! I'm starting to experiment with nootropics and this video was a perfect fit and influence on my current knowledge base on the subject.

My experimenting began about 6 months with 5-HTP. While I'm not yet certain that 5-HTP is considered a nootropic (I'm only in beginning phases of researching the subject), I've had AMAZING results in the areas of stress reduction and cognitive ability with this supplement. But after 6 months I think the affects my be starting to plateau.

I only discovered the term Nootropics a few days ago and am ready to move on to potentially more potent supplements.

THANKS AGAIN FOR THIS INFORMATION!

My philosophy is less is more. I've combined various Nootropics and discovered that you quickly reach a level of diminishing returns. If you have the products already then by all means try it out, however your body can only process/use a certain amount of any introduced substance. You'll save yourself money and time if you find the right combination for you.

Need to look at a low carb/high fat diet. Carbs are not helpful for mental clarity. Consider eliminating gluten as well. Read Grain Brain. Very good book.

What I've learned in nearly a year is Less is More. I'd personally only take L Theanine, Lemon Balm or Holy Basil if I felt I needed a little stress relief or boost to prep for some appointment/activity. I've not tried L Tyrosine. The reason I say less if more, is because you'll reach a point of diminishing returns. Essentially your body will just excrete any excess. Mostly I focus on Piracetam and Choline, along with regular daily vitamins and only use the other products when needed.

Roz, I've come up with the philosophy that "Less" is "More". I'd say the ideal stack is (at least for me) consist of 1/4 Teaspoon of Piracetam in the morning and at dinner. Along with the dosage I take 1/2 Teaspoon of Choline Bitartrate. All other products outlined are "optional".

About 5 months after making this video I did go about 1 week without taking anything and I felt really sluggish, lethargic and just completely off my game. If you want to cycle it you can, just note how you feel.

You're correct, the pyramid was more of a fixture of the video backdrop instead of a guideline. Although now we know a lot of diets really comes down to the individual. Recently I had the Berkeley Blood test conducted and based on the results the dietitian outlined a healthy eating regiment for me.

It comes down to the individual and their genetics if you want the exact science.

I LOVED Aniracetam. Just make sure you have a good balance of B-complex, Vitamin C, Krill Oil with astaxanthin, Choline, ginseng and Lifes' DHA. Only took them in the morning with coffee and milk chocolate. It was awesome! Expensive, yes but totally amazing.

It can be a challenge to recommend what could be the best for any one person as we're all different. As the video suggest and in my opinion, the best for me has been Piracetam and Choline Bitartrate. These combinations are also fairly cost effective considering the benefits. My suggestion to you is try Piracetam and Choline Bitartrate. If you reach a Plateau on the product, where you feel clouded again, just dial the dosage back or stop taking it for a few days.

My Philosophy with Nootropics is, Less Is More. You can stack at first, however you will reach a mental Plateau. Your general use of Piracetam and Choline Bitartrate are the two best combos for me. If or when you start mixing them with other Nootropics you may experience diminishing returns. A lot of times your body will excrete excess so you're going to want to find the right combination. There aren't any known side effects as Racetam's as they have low toxicity.

Limitess, of course was purely entertainment and we'd probably all like a drug that would elicit that type of benefit, without the repercussions. Depressions is a whole other matter you'll want to discuss with your doctor, however two things I'd suggest as a natural alternative: Jiaogulan (Gynostemma) and Rhodiola. Those are suggestions of course. Always check with your doctor.
