Since taking mikes advice and stretching as far as I can on the downward motion on my dips they feel so much better. I used to get crazy pain in my shoulder from dips but not anymore, he ain’t lying!

I had a ton of shoulder pains from dips and benching when I was 18, and I didn't even go very deep. I started doing some lighter workouts emphasizing good technique and deep stretches, and boom, they went away. I honestly couldn't believe the difference at first, it was like I was using a new body. Now I worked myself up to weighted dips again and the stretch+pause at the bottom combo is amazing

This is my fav exercise with pullups. It is so satisfying. Makes me feel like a beast in the djungle. Something about body weight exercises that speaks to my primal self. Love it.

Shoulders are the most sensitive joint which majority of people have some sort of sensitivity too. Doing deep dips stretches the shoulder and puts a lot of stress on it so do this with that in mind.

thanks to mike my milking technique has improved a lot, with that deep stretch at the bottom for best results

I’m still recovering from pec minor detachment surgery and rotator clean up. This is how I’ve got back into doing dips and it really helps. Shoulder feels good during and where my pec minor is no longer attached it helps me with stability in the shoulder as well. Highly suggest listening to this advice and incorporating it.

Leg position is huge with this move. Glad you emphasized feet forward. Basically under you. I put my feet very slightly ahead.
