Basically do it more like a pushup if you want chest. Stay upright if you want just triceps

Dips gonna go into my tricep routines either way.
if i wanna emphasize the lowerchest i would do deep incline pushups with the footsteps below it.

One tip : protact your rear delts and your chest engagement increases without affecting triceps. (I mean hunch your upper traps and rear delts a bit while keeping lower back straight)

Honestly, legs up like that is (at least for me) a ton more comfortable. Makes it more like a push-up in all the right ways.

I do it with rings. Focusing to go as low as possible. The eccentrics slow transition from push to pull will prep it for the rings muscle up. I find that transition part the most challenging on the triceps and elbow. The joint is just not used to the stress which a dip and pull up will never expose the elbow to.
