I tried doing this in the hospital and the nurse yelled at me and told me I’m making it harder on myself and spread my legs apart so fast it hurt 💔

I delivered my third on all fours and saw this somewhere prior to having her- I tried it and she popped right out! As soon as she was out I sighed, said “ah! I feel so much better!” And asked to
Hold her.

My husband was still clutching my clothes in the corner of the room, pale, with his jaw on the floor 😅
Thanks Ochsner, NOLA for letting me do what felt best for my body!

I just gave birth 2 days ago and did this and it helped so much

This is only favorable when you’re very close to delivering, like preferably when they can feel/see it bc you want the top part wider so they can descend

Looks very easy but quite tough. I just gave it a try and uffff 😢 I’m 37 weeks pregnant very active with exercise and walking unable to touch my knees.

So important it. I had class for birth but nobody teaches me that it and it was so hard. I’m pregnant again and now I’ll go to male different. Thanks
Do you have online course?

Well the first position is good for the first stage whete you want to make room for the baby to go down into the pelvis. Then for the baby to move forward, this is the one 😍

I’m curious what pelvis model you are using for this!

Is it just as effective to do that with the legs while on your back? Or do you hqve to be knees down. Askig because im close and last child they wouldnt let me labor any other way than on my back legs spread wide

What is the best way to labor on your side? Just leg up? Nothing special?

I would like to watch my wife give birth in "the favorable position" someday...
