Can it run with just a screw in end of hose, not into carb

I just replaced my carb now my scooter won’t take gas it was before I replaced the carb. The one I have now is brand new what do I need to adjust to make it suck in gas

You got to move your camera to know how it is set up

Thats not a pump, its a valve. Get rid of it and replace it with a fuel cutoff switch.

Is gas soppoused to come through the vacuum line on that fuel pump..mine is pulling gas through the vacuum line... does that mean the pump is bad..

Thats the most ignored piece trouble shooting Carb problems ...I think this piece is the reason for my scooter to Bogg down when I accelerate, ...That Valve (Or petcock )

Hi, I was about to put new pipes in after a vandal attack pulled all fuels and vacuum pipes but I find 4 outlets on my fuel tap/ pump and while petrol in and out are marked the other 2 aren’t and I hoped you might help please

That is not a fuel pump it is a vacuum operated fuel tap
