Slightly leaning back is perfectly ok. As long as it’s controlled and you’re not leaning/jerking back because the weight is too heavy. Elbows in and out can be a preference or shoulder mobility issue. Not to mention, elbows out and landing higher up on your chest will target upper back more.

This isnt a close grip pulldown, its a vbar pulldown.

A vbar only has one normal grip, unlike a pulldoen or lat bar.

I respectfully disagree.. both are ok, but look how much more stretch he got at the top going up in the first example..
