Hi Guys! We all love Scalea and the other beautiful coastal towns that dot the coast and being in the hospitality business we love our tourists but in Summer Scalea swells from around 11,000 people to over 80,000 and the infrastructure creaks and strains under the weight. Happily it is just for a few weeks and once August is over, they go back home and come out in more manageable numbers during nice weather.
So we work like crazy in August and September first we relax and enjoy our beautiful town and coastline.

I always prefer the off seasons, even here in America! I much prefer calm and quiet. Looking forward to my return to Scalea next week and seeing Casa Cristina! ♥️

Headed home after spending my last “summer days” on the beach. Looking forward to a little cooler weather here in the South. Fresh chicken eggs are the best. I have 7 chicken so I have fresh eggs every morning.
