Fun fact, the woman in this video once explained that this 50s house is just a second home and her real home is modern, She explained on a ama Reddit that the producers of the show wanted her to act and be a certain way for the show.

WWII PTSD, alcohol abuse, no fair labor wages, I don’t think she realizes how good she has it now and how much more freedom she’s got. I love the era and music and fashion but I’m sure the lifestyle would not have been that great.

One thing is wanting to live your life a certain way and another is forcing your lifestyle onto others. Not "letting" your partner have internet or a cell phone is too much. Love this, im obsessed with the 50s 60s and 70s my family brought me up ti have a love for American nostalgia, they immigrated from Europe in the 40s and were smitten with the music, the culture, we always watched the shows the movies, i dress a bit 60s too😄

She’s beautiful, I love her style, but I can just tell by the way she looks upon that era with rose coloured glasses that she’s about as clever as a box of pencils. And clearly incredibly conservative, very emotionally manipulative of her boyfriend. Jessica Kelgren-Fozard has this style and she’s actually a lovely person. If anyone here is wanting to take inspiration, go to her channel.

Her style may be authentic but much of her view of how the 1950s was is a romanticized version. One I love but it's a stretch to say it's authentic and accurate.
That said, if it makes her happy I think it's great. I live my life in a similar way but I'm more loosely vintage inspired. I just take what I like and mix it with other styles I enjoy.

it could be a lot worse... I actually really like her style even though it seems crazy those times definitely were more centered around family unity and connection. Bravo to her.
