You forgot the 7 different dogs barking and the neighbor owners who can't seem to hear them

I used to live in a wealthy suburban town and I'm pretty sure if the residents ever saw a single leaf out of place they'd have an aneurysm.

Nothing like 16 year old Kyle practicing for Formula 1 at 3am in his beefed out 2005 Honda Civic lol

if you live in the poorer part of town you just have to replace the lawn mowers with cars driving by blaring subwoofers, rattling your entire house 24/7

After the lawnmowers go to sleep, the loud cars come out for the night shift.

Okay the lawn mower sound mightve been a little exaggerated but the motorcycle going off in the middle of the fucking night is spot on

Shoutout to the bro that waited until 9PM on a Wednesday to start roofing and had to commit until 1AM. 👏👏👏

This is very true! I left downtown to live in a quiet suburb. It’s more noisy than downtown! No traffic noise but non stop mowers and bikes

It’s so fun hearing dogs bark at each other for hours as their owners neglect them and never taught them how to shut up 😍

The freaking motorcycles and obnoxious engine revving that kicks in at night when the power tools and lawnmowers finally die down is the cherry on top. Beyond accurate. 10/10

I once had a neighbor mow for 12 hours straight.
He owned <2 acres.
A few months later, he flipped his riding mower, and just sat there, unharmed, sideways, mowing nothing for an hour.
I am not joking.

I've lived in the suburbs my whole life and I can confirm there almost always seems to be a lawnmower running at some point of every hour of every day during the summer. The horrific sounds of cars with loudner rather than a muffler is a new addition but is definitely real.

Waking up at 10 AM blinded by the sun and getting my ears assaulted by the lawn mower is an integral childhood memory. Never thought the sound of lawnmowers would make me feel comforted, though for non-suburbanites it probably makes them want to rip their ears out.

If you went outside and screamed just as loud someone would call the cops, or even if you play loud music or have a raucous party, but this constantly is somehow socially acceptable

People in suburbs need to switch to clover lawns: great for bees and other pollinators, much more drought resistant, very little mowing required, and it acts as a natural fertilizer

Holy shit I never knew I could relate to something this hard

I'm Argentinian, and in Latin America the situation is simmilar but with drunk people blasting music on loudspeakers. Not only in the summer but all year round, it sucks

You forgot the sirens that occasionally pass within half-a-mile or so of your house, almost sounding like they're turning onto your street, and then slowly become quieter
