just a friendly reminder to everyone watching that she’s doing an experiment and seemingly doesn’t do this regularly. if you do this sort of thing to “make up for a few days of bad eating” or because “you were bad earlier in the week and didn’t meet your goal for exercise” take a step back and breathe. you’re a human. if you “overate” for one day that’s fine! take a breath! maybe you enjoyed the food that day! that’s great! life is about balance. balance doesn’t mean punishing yourself for being a human. be kind to yourselves and others ❤

If anyone wants to know how to calculate this on your own with various activities, here you go:
First, you'll need to know the METs (metabolic equivalents) of the activity. Just Google like "jogging MET equivalent" and you'll find it.
Then you'll need to do these steps:
1) multiply the MET value by 3.5
2) divide by 1000
3) multiply by your weight in kg
4) multiply by 5 (this will give you calories per minute)
5) multiply by number of minutes you'd do the activity for.

Explanation:
Multiplying by 3.5 converts METs to relative VO2, or the volume of oxygen you'd move doing that activity, where 1 MET = 3.5 mL/kg/min (units for relative VO2). It is relative because it involves the weight of the person. Absolute VO2, which is universal, is L/min. So to convert from relative to absolute VO2, divide by 1000 to get to L, then multiply by your weight in kg to cancel out kg in relative VO2, leaving you with L/min. Then, to convert to calories, 1L/min = 5 calories/L burned. So multiply by 5 calories to get calories/min. Then multiply by minutes performed to get total calories.

The amount of calories burned on the machines are always wrong. When I compare them to my watch they are massively different. Their are so many factors that contribute to how many calories you burn that an exercise machine just couldn’t know unless you fill it with a bunch for information about yourself. Anyway, just do what makes you feel good and don’t focus too much on the numbers because they don’t mean much.

Of course it was hard 😂 do you know how much energy that is? Calories are energy. I recommend eating enough to be able to sustain this without putting stress on your body and causing your metabolism to lower if your calorie deficit lasts longer than 2/3 weeks.

I do this everyday no problem. 20 min of cardio, 10-20 min warm up stretches, strength training 5-6exercised per split day, cool down static stretches and 20 min of everything left in the tank cardio. I usually burn 800-1000 cal plus my daily movement form chores walking ect so I usually end the day at 1200-1500 cal burned through exercise. I’m sharing because I’m proud but it’s taken over a year to get to this point. No beginner should jump into fitness trying to achieve this it’ll make you hate working out😅

That looked like so much fun! I love working out. The most calories I burned in a single workout was around 500. I don’t think I can ever or want to burn 1, 000 calories.

20 min cardio + Lifting heavy makes me burn ~700 cals in 2 hours. No need to do strenuous exercises with too much cardio and HIIT.

I used to be a workout freak, I used to do 7-8 hours of workout just to burn 1600 calories, but now im, not I took a break but the break became more than two years long so im gonna start working out again from 1 April. You know some people still don't believe that this soft belly used to have hard abs 😂 I want them again😭 so wish me luck.

I’m burning 1000 each day for 30 days on the stair master. It’s a little over an hour run on the highest setting…this is day 10 and I’m feeling it but the results are insane in my calves, knees, ankles and even hip flexors besides the weight loss.

Usually I just go on the treadmill for an hour then burn like 800, then I get the other 200 from HIIT cardio or like arms/leg/core exercises. Idk if my math is accurate tho. I like your hiit cardio exercises! I’ll have to try those next time 😂😂😂

324 calories in a 25 min treadmill run is crazy. ik im a minor but when i spend 25 min on the treadmill im lucky to burn half of what you did
