I tested out the newly released app with a few updates and I question why some are even called updates. Still waiting for the update that will quell the market. Sonos, get it done and release the Arc Gen 2 already.

Thanks for the update. I am keeping the Sonos equipment I have and I’m waiting to buy anything else until all the updates and corrections are finished. Rock on!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it....a motto SONOS should adopt

With all the improvements they are putting in why can’t they add adjust center speaker for increased speech volume? I know you can toggle speech enhancement but if you can increase the height volume why not center channel?

sonos is in a sad state. I used to look forward to Peter's videos to learn something new about how to get the most out of my Sonos system/investment ... to have to devote all recent videos to just how screwed up Sonos has things is too bad ... recently I needed to set up music in a family vacation home and I wanted to set up something with sonos ... instead I put in some amazon echos in stereo in several rooms ... which sadly ... have gotten to be a consideration, not as echo has gotten so much better, but with how far the sonos app has fallen, it no longer justifies the premium position it had in my music solution options ... thanks for you continued perseverance Peter

I have 12 Sonos speakers 😢. Still have huge problems. Specially with the 2 sonos 5. I think the focus should be on fixing the connections problems. And then the rest.

The night mode switch is not available on now playing section during music playback. Having this in settings screen gives the option to switch night mode on/off now.

I was going to purchase a pair of Era 300 speakers for spatial audio but have since cancelled that idea since they can't be properly set up because of the app.

Another great video - thank you! I have a quick question about my setup, if you have a minute to respond, I'd really appreciate it :)

So I have the ultimate Sonos surround setup in my living room with the Arc, Gen 3 Sub, and 2 Era 300's. I also have an Era 100 in my kitchen and one in my bedroom.

The problem that I have sometimes: my television (LG G3 + Apple TV) decides to output audio to ALL the Sonos devices in my house, instead of just the ultimate surround system. I have to go into the Apple TV quick menu, select output to one of the Era 100s, than undo it and select the TV as output, which fixes the issue. But, it's annoying and I was wondering if you ever have a similar issue with the Ultimate Surround setup acting up like this. Thank you in advance!

I am happy to see Peter a little bit pissed.
Sonos have had so much time. Spence is not compatible with Sonos. Having him around to fix all the problems is also a good pay check. What else company has this kind of parenting?

Accessibility improvements means for those who are blind or have low vision and improving the accessibility of the app when a person is using either voiceover on an iPhone or talk back on an Android phone.

I use the alarm to play my favorite radio station in the same time for a specific period while show goes on the radio. About 4hrs 30min. lol it is a sweet feature not to forget my fav show on the radio.

Slowly getting better but two friends were still complaining about being laggy

Both were not using SonosNet and all their devices were going direct to their wireless router

One ethernet cable later both reported significant improvement

Besides toggling Wifi on and off or open and close app, the home theater set up has been just fine. I can't get TV Swap to work on Ace to work at all. It's worked twice for me since I got them. I'll probably send them in for repair.

At last you seem to be a little bit frustrated, Peter. But it's not enough. I don't know why your system hasn't been as badly affected as so many of us. These changes do not address any of the real problems: disappearing speakers, huge time lags before the app lets us make changes, not to mention the general incomprehensibility of the new interface.

Accessibility definitely seems to have improved. Previously, my screen reader would read both the menu item and the respective toggle as independent items, making navigation a lot more trouble.

Thanks for your time with Sonos Pete. I am a long time user who has a vinyl collection. I bought a set of Ace headphones some months ago with the intention of listening to my vinyl via the Bluetooth connection. However it simply doesn’t work. I can listen to my Sony TV using the swap function. But despite my Project pre phono amp having Bluetooth connectivity I cannot listen with the Ace headphones to my vinyl playing on my Project turntable. My system consists of the Arc, amp, mini sub and a Five speaker. I wrote to Patrick Spence CEO a month ago but am yet to receive a reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated Pete.
