I think the best purchase right now for the PS5 is the certified refurbished PS5 from PS Direct. They appear to arrive practically new with minimal use, and you get a year warranty. $400 to play the exact same games as PS5 Pro and you get a disc drive. Plus it’s the original version, which I prefer anyway.

Currently disc drive that goes with it is sold out. Can’t play physical games . So it’ll take months again to get one

I’m loving my pro. It’s playing my favorite games significantly better and with selling my old one it only cost $200.

My ps5 (no joke) blew up on pro launch day 😂 so im £700 lighter now but boy was it worth it. Being able to play with high fidelity at 60fps makes a world of difference. As someone who doesnt play on pc the upgrade in detail and lighting playing dead island 2 for example was breathtaking.

I feel like the 700 mark really helped avoid resellers getting their paws on them first and try to sell them for abt 1, 000 or more like when the first ps5 came out. Cry some more

Ppl don’t understand that the pro has always been to bridge the gap for the next gen console . So when ps6 comes out you can still play with marginal results.
