I just can't justify a £700+ spend on a slight graphic increase, had my PS5 practically since launch, and perfectly happy with it. I got an LG C2 2 years ago, and that have the graphical boost I needed anyway

Mine just arrived today; I’ll wait until tomorrow to open. I sold mine regular for $450 and the FPS upgrade and having the best of the best HW until 2027-2028 was worth the extra $300 for me. 60FPS-120FPS RDR2 is all I need. I have a 65” Sony TV with 120FPS so I’ll use all the power. Excited for tomorrow.

If you already have a PS5 and don't have a OLED TV, I think you'll see a bigger difference buying the Samsung S90D or the LG C4 than buying the PRO.

they said that you dont have to worry about choosing fidelity and performance on the ps5 pro, but they just added the word pro on fidelity and performance, you still have to choose between the two options wtf

Glad I don't regret buying a base disc ps5 for 300€ on ebay the other day. This is definitely not a 700€ difference for me at all.

Just got the pro today. Was definitely a time saver just transferring basic profile from my ps5 and redownloading the games instead of transferring them (3.5 hours to transfer as opposed to 3 mins and like 20 mins for the first gamedownload). As to whether its worth it upgrading to the pro or not? if youve never owned a ps5, its worth it. If you already own a ps5, not worth it unless you have the spare cash. Playing in fidelity mode at 60 fps instead of the ps5's 30fps is a huge difference though. As to the stand, its pretty stable standing upright without it. I also was able to jimmy my old ps5's stand onto the pro, but you dont need it (unless you get a lot of earthquakes or something. Whether the increase in fps matches the cost, is up to your personal opinion

i just bought one for myself. I had a ps5 slim with a 2tb ssd with disk drive. I took the disk drive out and placed on the pro. I love the pro
