I had quite a few thumb drives and SD cards that "failed" over time. I just replaced them. Now I have learned to clean them using the diskpart command, also now have added this approach to removing read only. I have saved not all but most drives that were otherwise seemingly finished. Knowedge is power! Great video. Subscribed.

I formatted the SD card using my phone. It's quick and easy. It works nicely. You can insert it directly to your phone or USE OTG adapter or format it with your camera.

i watched many tutorials and it didnt work. the only thing i did different here was, when running command prompt to add "attributes" to "clear disk readonly". thanks alot!! nice calm voice and good tutorial quality btw.

Option 2 command prompt to add "attributes" to "clear disk readonly, solved the problem, and although i knew locking/unlocking slider, people also have to know, sometimes the slider seems to work, but inside may be faulty due to wear and tare, or damaged without showing on outside, try another SD Adapter.
Most appreciated, Now 3 Cards are now working again thanks to your clean teachings, You the Guy..

All my life I fought when you put it down it literally just wouldn’t fit into the SD card reader so when I looked at it when I saw that and it fit I didn’t think that was a problem then when I switched it, it worked just fine. thank you very much for the advice.
