Southwest is great about bags flying free and no change fees. They may be almost as expensive as the Big 3 nowadays but they are the cheapest if something bad happens.

Southwest is better in my opinion because their base fares are more inclusive than the Big 3.

Ehh, but what also is included on southwest during the flight? Yes, they have tv via wifi, but so does the other airlines, and even comparing that to delta where they have TV's on majority of their planes that are completely complimentary, not to mention power outlets available to all customers at every seat, no matter the fare class. Also, premium snacks on Delta. Comparing that to a longer flight on southwest, where they don't have those onboard amenities should be taken into account. You compared it to their customer service in which you offered no visual evidence to prove their level of service more superior than that of Delta, United, or American. You've used your past experience to decide that. It's more than price now that the airlines are competing on, it's also the experience onboard. Although southwest may offer certain change fees, I'm sure over 90 percent of travelers don't anticipate using that "amenity" on the day of travel, but they care about the overall experience they will have.
