SAVE IT for your next adventure 🤩✈️ Here’s what you can expect flying Southwest Airlines👇
✈️ Booking: I got the best deal on their offers page. But it was slightly higher than other low-fare airlines.
💺Seating: Southwest Airlines has an open seating policy. Passengers do not have assigned seats but are instead assigned a boarding group and a number between 1 and 60 depending on when they check in.
Group A is business class, Group B is for those who managed to check in early and Group C is for lazy bums who forgot they had a flight to catch the next day.
Families with young kids get a special boarding window between Groups A and C. Passengers can choose any available seat within their boarding group when boarding the aircraft.
✨ Pro Tip: Set an alarm for 24 hours before your flight time so you get the best seat! Alternatively, you can pay to be upgraded to an A1-A15 boarding position.
☕️🧇 Things that I loved the most:
• Free Snacks & Drinks (you can also purchase alcoholic drinks for a minimal price)
• Let space is awesome and they allow us to put all our luggage in the overhead bins
• Free carry-on + personal item + free checked bag per person, so no need to worry about carrying less luggage.
• Storage to keep bottles and other small items (major missing in other airlines)
• Headrest was also an additional feature that made our journey comfortable.
• Free entertainment options to keep you busy. (You can also purchase wifi for just $8)
Overall it’s a solid 4/5. Taking 1 point because we got a slightly higher price due to last minute booking.
