I Tested America's BEST Rated Airline

Today I Flew JetBlue and Southwest Airlines in order to find out how good and bad they actually were and what the differences were like! JetBlue and Southwest Airlines are both considered to be to of the best and most popular Airlines in all of the United States but how different can they really be?

In this video I show you everything from the check in, to the in flight experience and all the interactions with staff so we can truly see how each airline compares to one another!

Fun fact: JetBlue actually started its roots from Southwest because the CEO came from Southwest. Even the service was similar before the pandemic: trays, notepads, etc. That's also jetblue's older interior with its (you were right) dated TV system. They have a newer entertainment system now!

Southwest also offers early bird check-in. When you buy your ticket you can add that on for like $15-$20 and they’ll automatically check you in 24 hours before your flight. Typically that means you’re in the ‘A’ group, for boarding.

Just flew Southwest. It's been almost 10 years since I flew them, but with Boarding Group A I absolutely loved being one of the first 
on the plane and picking out my seat. The boarding group line ups were a little chaotic, but overall I found the experience smooth!

When I was little, my family would always fly southwest everywhere we went, so I thought that every airline used the “free for all” boarding method. When I was about 11, we had to take a longer flight so we flew with delta. I was absolutely dumbfounded when I found out that we had assigned seats.

I think the things that’s so interesting is how much Eric seems to like JetBlue but for me, I have never flown them without a 45 minute or more delay. The last time I flew them, I found so many problems it’s unreal.

I think something that needs to be deeply thought of is that Southwest gives 2 free bags PER PERSON. I decided to travel Southwest with 4 other family members because of this reason. We were able to bring 9 check in bags for FREE. We most likely would've payed at least 5 times more than what we did if we flew on a different airline.

I'm in California and the most annoying thing is not being able to get direct flights to New York or Florida. Jet Blue offers those direct flights and I love it!

Love these videos. They are very informative. Flights taken earlier in the day will be cleaner. Because the cabins of the aircraft are cleaned at night. Usually only the trash is taken out. In-between flights during the day. So flights taken later in the day . Will generally be dirtier inside the cabin ( passenger seating area)..

As an avid JetBlue flyer, they were awesome until the pandemic when my most frequent complaint was that there were so many delays without reasons and general overcrowding of their terminals (especially in Fort Lauderdale)
