Tired of defaulting to its competitor, Google, for its mapping services, Apple decided to launch its own version in 2012 alongside iOS 6. Apple Maps was buggy, lacked public transit information, and in some areas and countries, offered literally nothing but blank voids or misplaced landmarks.

Microsoft Band
This was Microsoft’s first attempt at wearable hardware and it failed miserably. The rugged hardware and uncomfortable fit felt like Microsoft simply shipped a prototype as a fitness tracker. This band allowed you to order coffee from Starbucks, but even that couldn't save this product.
