how do i access the pictures in the folders, i cant seem to locate where the pictures are in all the backup folders

Yeah, there it is... but how do you extract files from it?

If any body is looking at this and wants to extract the files, just create an empty folder on your iPhone select all the files you want and past them into that folder, then airdrop that folder to your mac. Works like a charm.

Having been initially impressed with my M1 MacBook the operating system is driving me crazy and this is another good example. Probably if you are key stroke apple genius it's all easy but coming to this OS from windows even a simple thing like managing photos is a chore and needs time consuming learning to figure it out and where some downloads go is lottery. Apple seems to know exactly how you should organise your computer and leaves to figure out what that is.
