Ok I figured it out or what worked for my iPhone which is only a iPhone 11 and that was I was having no luck bc originally my wallet would pop up so I cut that off and then my screen would then lock immediately as soon as I push the side button once so what I did is I just cut my phone off and turn it back on and then I tried the three clicks, and it worked.. so cut phone off & then on then it should work
