What I did to fix it
Setting —-> screen time —-> content and app restrictions—-> photos —-> allow —-> reset phone

If at first it does’nt show up power off your phone then power it on again. This worked for me

When I try giving a up access to photos it doesnt even show the option to do so. It's too confusing and if it's asking to give access to photos why dont it show up in the settings for it?

Help me on this I don’t know what I did wrong because I clicked on something I thought it might bring down some space on my phone but I think I unable to Allow Access photos on my phone because I did all that but it doesn’t shows that anymore so whatever I did I mess up I need to find a way to able it!

What if the photo and camera icons aren’t there for Instagram in the settings app?

reset your phone and everything. you won’t lose anything in your camera roll or anything else.
