How much cardio should you be doing on your fat loss journey? The answer is as little as possible to achieve your goals.

1. You can increase your weekly cardio until it starts to affect progressive overloading on weight training.
2. If increasing your weekly cardio after a point is negatively impacting your strength at the gym, you should probably make programming changes.
3. In an ideal scenario I would space out my cardio and weight training session (cardio in the morning and weight training in the evening or vice versa) but if time is a constraint and you want to do both together then start your workouts with weight training and then perform some form of medium intensity cardio after.
4. Concentric style cardio like cycling or stair master would be ideal to prevent atrophy of muscles or type shift in muscle fibre.
5. If increasing your cardio is making you hungrier and in turn making it harder for you to diet, you should consider taking a step back.
6. In general, more activity = more hunger/cravings
7. Don’t get swayed away by watching bodybuilders do excessive cardio during competition prep. Getting lean vs getting stage ready are two very different things.
8. Completely skipping out on cardio isn’t the best idea either. I would recommend performing at least 120-150 minutes of medium intensity cardio per week.

Religiously watched your nutrition vids.

I lost over 70KG in 9months appx. Started at 185KG.

3 more months I want to keep going & then start maintenance.

In future, when I create my transformation video - I plan to give credit/shoutout. Hope that’s okay.

My advice

If you go to gym
First start with weight training and then move to cardio
As u will get the fresh energy during weight training and then do cardio till failure

I did the same when i was 89 kg and i had nearly 45% body fat as i was short heightened
Currently I'm 65 kg in wt and 5'6 height.

Let me make simple for those guy who need to reduce weight: First stop eating junk and sugar, than start walking daily atleast after eating total 4kms a day, eat light healty breakfast, dont eat rice and roti in lunch only one bowl subji or healthy, evening healthy bowl breakfast, last eat full dinner with khichdi and roti. Do weakly one full session all out weight lifting, have one fast day like a monday fast. If you have monday fast than have sunday as workout and cheat day. Keep follow this. You will reduce weight with having muscles with less side effects.

i was confused for a week as i started walking .. i burn 250 calories by walking 1 hour and nearly 4.15 km daily & it includes nearly 6000 steps . but on Youtube and Instagram i see 10k steps are must. But i guess i have to just increase the volume slowly and steadily and not go for higher goal immediately . Thank you mohit for this amazing informational video keep it up u r inspiring 1000's of fat people to lose fat !!!!

Hi Mohit, I'm 31 years old. Previously over the last 14 years i lost and gained weight 3 tjmes. Now on this age I'm again 100kgs and Im trying to lose weight, I worked out 1 month pretty vigorously and guess what i didnt lose even a single kg. Also i kept my calories fairly in deficit.

A few fact's i work at night and i sleep on day

I have so much stress I'm constantly in fatigue.
