I love creatine. I take it daily and have seen general improvements. I usually get about 5-8 lbs of intramuscular water after loading it. I've also noticed it does help with cognition after sleep deprivation. I also like it for increasing SAMe levels in the brain.

The heart is a muscle so I’m assuming it can promote a healthier heart?? I just started taking it yesterday a glass of creatine dissolved in tap water followed by a protein shake. Losing weight is easy, but building muscle has been my challenge.

I've read somewhere that there is a lot of discussion about the dosage of creatine.
What seems to be a safe level is about 3g per day but you can also take over 12g although the article I've read said if you do so you shouldn't take the high dosage for longer than 1 month and then don't use creatine supplements for some time because apparently you desinsitize your body's own creatine forming capabilities.
